When we first stepped into this property we knew the 4-bedroom home had potential. The vendor had decorated her property with stylish timber furniture and contemporary artworks, all it needed was a tidy up and some extra soft furnishings.
With a fresh coat of paint and the removal of a few pieces of artwork that didn’t communicate with the rest of our theme, it was already face lifting. Then with our additional art works and linens, the rooms were transformed onto a different level.
What we did here is something we call a “style over”, where we use most of the vendor’s furniture but bring in coordinating artworks, soft furnishings and accessories.
To create a cohesive result, we decided to go with our “Global Luxe” theme as it’s quite sophisticated. Combined with elements like leather, brass, marble and tinted glass, it went well with the dark wood furniture the vendor already had.
This property was sold within a couple of weeks after it had been staged, and the vendor was very pleased with the outcome.
